Internal Control Head

Summary:

A global manufacturing company is seeking an Internal Control Head (Director Level) to establish and lead its internal control framework as part of ongoing expansion. This role reports directly to the executive team and will drive governance, compliance, and operational excellence across all business units. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with strong experience in manufacturing operations, SAP-driven control environments, and enterprise-level risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement internal control policies aligned with COSO, SOX, and ISO standards.
• Oversee control testing, risk assessment, and audit readiness across business and plant operations.
• Evaluate and strengthen controls in production, inventory, supply chain, logistics, and cost accounting.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify control gaps, recommend improvements, and ensure process compliance.
• Integrate control activities with SAP systems to enhance monitoring and reporting capabilities.
• Lead and mentor the internal control team, promoting a culture of compliance and accountability.
• Serve as the main liaison for internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration; postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA), CPA, or equivalent certification required.
• 10-12+ years of experience in internal control, risk management, audit, or compliance, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven background in manufacturing operations covering production, inventory, supply chain, cost accounting, and plant controls.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and internal control frameworks (COSO, SOX, ISO).
• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive governance across all business levels.

Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Schedule: Day shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
