Inventory Specialist - Navotas

Job Summary: The Warehouse Inbound Specialist is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods and materials in a warehouse or distribution center. They play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all incoming shipments are handled in a timely and organized manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming containers and local deliveries from suppliers.
• Verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Inspect goods for damage, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Update and maintain accurate inventory records in a the data base.
• Ensure items are correctly labeled and check weighing scale of each box.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to the supervisor
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of received items, including quantities etc.
• Generate and complete shipping and receiving documents, including bills etc.
• Communicates with the Supply Chain department related to the weekly incoming shipments from suppliers.
• Communicates to cold storage service provider the details of weekly incoming shipments.
• Communicates to National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS)/ Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Inspector that CV has arrived at the warehouse.
• Serves as a dispatcher when there is a need for help in dispatching activity.

Qualifications:

• With Bachelor's Degree of any 4-year course related to the field - logistics, supply chain management, business administration, operations management etc.
• Solid computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics role is advantageous. Experience in quality control and inventory management is also valuable.
• Attention to Detail: The ability to meticulously inspect products for quality and accuracy is essential.

• Ability to build positive relationships with the team.
