Job Description

• Be the IT lead for the cloud enablement, adoption and migration program and . This role will be accountable to deliver the IT part of the program on time in full. The role will make the delivery happen through existing IT teams (which focus on internal IT system architecture) and System Integrators (3rd Party who will focus on cloud migration, deployment and development).

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a Scrum Master that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
• Cloud (AWS) and development experience in Java, .Net etc.
• Experience in DevSecOps
• Has experience working with JAVA SOA / Web Services/ APIs
• Ability to manage conflicts
• Good Stakeholder management, ability to get support, escalate, manage bad news
• A curious mindset that is interested in all things data. Has ability to understand the business, orchestrate between various teams to define the right path and decisions and comfortable to get into IT solutioning if things are falling between the cracks.

Qualifications

• 10 to 20 year total experience in IT with at least 5 as a Manage
• Must have prior experience as a Program Manager and Delivery Manager
• Subject matter expert on public/private cloud particularly AWS, on-prem server and storage, and related technologies
• Prior experience of managing cloud migration and enablement is a must
• Prior experience in FinOPS/ cloud operations
• Prior experience of delivering through System Integrators (SI) partners / platform vendors
• Experience of leading / working in a regional program team.
• Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• College/University Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business
• AWS Certification/s

Responsibilities Program Management

• Drive the Cloud Program to a successful completion and on budget with high quality
• Manage the various stakeholders from business and IT
• Develop and maintain road maps and capability development plans
• Conduct Cost benefit analysis on project feasibility
• Identify program and project vision, objectives and risks
• Define program and project project scope, deliverables and roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners
• Drive the Scrum Masters and Project Managers of the individual projects

Scrum Master / Project Management

• Delight the customer
• Facilitate the work of the team to deliver to project objectives
• Own and guide the team in Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile practices
• Deliver projects on time, on budget, and within acceptable quality
• Plan budgets for equipment, resources and vendors
• Identify, analyze and prioritize project risks and impact of risks on the project

Resource Management

• Acquire, develop, manage, and mentor resources within the team
• Oversees daily activities and provides guidance to resources as necessary
• Forecast resource demand and manage supply
• Cascades all policies and procedures, strategies, information and other concerns to all reporting staff.
• Develops and executes employee development plans
• Conduct Performance Evaluations for team members and manage high and low performers appropriately
• Ensures productivity and utilization of staff and general performance

Account Management

• Build relationships with business stakeholders and ensure project support and commitment
• Obtain stakeholder approval and commitment for project plan and resources to achieve project goals
• Develop a communications plan to update stakeholders of the progress and approval process

Research & Development

• Keep abreast of latest trends in technology by regularly surveying market landscape for solution insights, direction, vendors, and methods to assess their viability for use within the enterprise
• Develop prototypes to potentially use these solutions in the enterprise
• Provide enterprise level design, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable cloud technology, tools and standard/ new patterns
