Job Description

• IT personnel who design, install, and maintain a company’s computer systems and network. Responsible for testing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking systems to meet the needs of the employer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Carry out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions (patch-updates, software and hardware upgrade, etc.)
• Ensuring IT operations is in good state by executing daily IT monitoring process
• Record incidents in the incident logging
• Fixing hardware, software and networking issues
• Conduct investigation and diagnostic on network and workstation related issues and problems
• Make recommendations for improving the company's overall IT systems
• Meeting with the IT manager to discuss system needs.
• Filing monthly reports for the IT Manager

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Maintenance and monitoring of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Virtual Private Networks (VPN), and voice over internet protocol (VoIP) networks
• Different operating systems environment (Windows and Open source)
• VMware workstation and server
• Storage (Raid and Backup configuration)
• Remote Access Tool (TeamViewer)
• Network Management Systems (NMS)
• Technical support and troubleshooting of desktop, systems, applications and network environments
• Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years’ work experience providing workstation, systems and network support
