JOB DESCRIPTION:
We're seeking a skilled professional for a pivotal IT Manager role in our team, primarily focusing on network design, implementation, and maintenance for CEF. Alongside these core responsibilities, this position will play a crucial role in end-user support, involving equipment configuration and troubleshooting. This position demands a comprehensive understanding and significant experience in network architecture, configuration, and ongoing maintenance, as well as a knack for addressing end-user technical needs efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Network Design and Implementation
• Design and implement network solutions for CEF, ensuring high availability and performance
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams
Network Maintenance
o Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades
o Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
End-User Support
• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving network-related issues efficiently
• Configure and troubleshoot network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls
Configuration and Troubleshooting
• Configure network devices and systems to meet business requirements
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, working collaboratively with other IT teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 5 years in IT Operations or Project Management, with a focus on Network Engineering
Technical Skills
• Extensive knowledge of networking, hardware, and software systems
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Experience with security tools and practices such as Sophos, SonicWall, and IPSec
• Familiar with email systems like O365 and server environments like Microsoft Azure
• Proficient with communication tools including Slack, Teams, and Zoom
Soft Skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users
• Strong problem-solving abilities to ensure compliance with regulations without creating inefficiencies
• High-level of professionalism and enthusiasm for the work
• Initiative and self-motivation in daily tasks
• Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
• Effective Project Management and ability to meet deadlines
Organizational Skill
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Commitment to consistency and adherence to best practices to support organizational scalability
Program Skills Required
• Email: Office 365 Outlook
• Server: Microsoft Azure
• Security: Sophos, SonicWall, IPSec
• Communication: Slack, Teams, Zoom
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Software/Server-related certificates is preferred
• Security-related certificate, education is preferred
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Availability to work Monday to Friday in Eastern time (night shift in PH time)
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup, both remotely from home and onsite within Metro Manila.
• Availability to start immediately is highly advantageous
