What You'll Do

* As an* IT Consulting Manager focused on ERP *you will design IT strategies for mid and large corporations to leverage the digital potential of our customers, provide strategic advice to clients on how ERP systems can support their business goals, oversee the design and customization of ERP solutions to meet client-specific requirements. Coach our clients’ technology teams, manage quality and risk while maintaining client expectations and escalations.
* You’ll develop ground-breaking projects by enabling our clients to effectively achieve their targets and use approaches in the context of strategic IT implementation, working closely with case team members to define IT strategies, architecture solutions and apply your technical know-how and understanding of business contexts.
* As part of our BCG Platinion consulting team, you would work on a variety of technology topics, applying your consulting skills to strategic technology questions, supported by an extensive training curriculum (the same program as all BCG consultant), plus technology-specific training and mentoring to help you build your skills.


What You'll Bring

* University degree with above average academic performance in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or Information Technology.
* 10-15 years’ experience in consulting, implementation, digital transformation, assessment or migration of ERP & Core Systems, technical project management, digital delivery or technology consulting related with ERPs and Core Systems.
* Experience from consulting firm (focused on technology, digital initiatives) in IT organization and process development.
* Experience in a set of technologies that enables you to analyze legacy environments and propose approaches to modernize technology.
* Track record of use of different types of delivery methodology, such as Agile, Waterfall, and preferably some experience in Digital and Agile transformations at scale.
* ERP migration landscapes deployment topologies, including operational concerns such as having the right change and run models.
* Right balance between functional and technical trade-off and experiences in data migration, cutover and PMO.
* Deep understanding of different integration patterns and best practices such as events, synchronous vs. asynchronous, Data integration, etc.
* Strong business acumen; can frame complex problems in appropriate business contexts.
* A strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
* Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, strong customer focus and mental agility with a results orientation.
* Fluent English and Spanish is a plus.

*You`ll be travelling*
At BCG Platinion you will have the opportunity to travel around the globe to work with clients and BCG teams.
At times, this role involves significant travel to client sites. The amount of travel will depend on client needs and nature of projects.
