IT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for providing help desk and technical support for the corporate IT infrastructure, information systems, and desktop management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide Level 1 & 2 help desk and technical support for corporate end-users on IT infrastructure, information systems, and IT services. Level 1 includes basic desktop troubleshooting, network services, device configuration, etc. Level 2 includes technical support to end users for corporate applications and information systems.
• Works with senior team members in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Escalates support problems that are beyond skill level to senior team members or vendors responsible for providing the required technical support.
• Perform other IT functions as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or other related fields
• Must have a working knowledge and experience in any two of the following functions: servers and storages, Active Directory, systems administration, networking, and databases.
• Problem-solving skills – diagnose technical problems and develop quick and precise solutions.
• Must have a strong background in configuration and maintenance of servers and storages, Active Directory, networking, database, or system administration.
