OVERALL PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
The IT Presales Engineer serves as the vital technical link between the sales team and prospective clients, ensuring that proposed IT solutions are strategically aligned with business needs. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills to design tailored solutions, deliver product demonstrations, and support the sales process through consultative engagement, proofs of concept, and technical documentation. Ultimately, the IT Presales Engineer helps drive business growth by translating complex requirements into effective, value-driven technology solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The IT Presales Engineer acts as the technical bridge between sales teams and potential clients, ensuring that the company’s products or solutions align with customer needs. This role involves demonstrating technical expertise, designing tailored solutions, and supporting the sales process through presentations, proofs of concept (POCs), and RFQ responses.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 5-10 years of work experience, preferably from IT companies such as distributors, system integrators, or resellers.
• Experience in IT domains like networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, or SaaS
• Preferably male and not more than 40 years of age.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and enterprise integrations.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure or security protocols is a plus
• Ability to read/understand code (though coding may not be required)
Soft Skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving and adaptability to address client challenges.
• Strong collaboration with sales, product, and engineering teams.
Additional Requirements
• Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP may be preferred for network/security roles.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings or trade shows.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Inclusive of 1-hour break)
