IT Project Manager

Years of Experience

• Junior to Mid Level: 3–5 years
• Mid to Senior Level: 5–8 years

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions, interpret complex systems architecture, and provide feedback on solution designs.
• Project Governance: Drive the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies. Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.
• Testing & Validation: Perform hands-on connectivity testing and end-to-end API validation to ensure system integrity before deployment.
• Documentation: Maintain rigorous project documentation, including functional specifications, workflow diagrams, and technical requirement documents.
• Operational Autonomy: Operate with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of project health, risk mitigation, and delivery milestones.

Technical Requirements

• Systems Expertise: Proficient in reading and evaluating Systems Architecture and Solution Designs.
• API Management: Deep knowledge of API Gateway concepts and experience performing API testing and validation (e.g., Postman, Curl).
• Data & Infrastructure: Ability to execute basic commands and queries for at least three (3) of the following:
• MySQL, Kafka, Redis, Elastic Search, Cassandra, Zookeeper, or Hadoop.
• Networking: Practical experience in performing connectivity testing (ping, telnet, traceroute, etc.) to troubleshoot integrations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong foundation in SDLC and Agile Frameworks.
• Meticulous Attention to Detail: You catch the edge cases that others miss in both documentation and code.
• Autonomy: Proven track record of managing complex technical projects from inception to go-live with little oversight.
• Nice-to-Have: Previous experience with Transaction Monitoring Systems or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance workflows.

Certifications

• CSM - Certified Scrum Master / or alike certification
• PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) /  or alike certification

Postman API Fundamentals Student Expert: A niche but highly relevant badge for someone performing API test and validation.
