Job Description - IT Support Assistant


Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Support Assistant, located in Pampanga. The IT Support Assistant will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining computer systems, and offering printer support. Daily tasks will include responding to user inquiries, diagnosing problems, and ensuring efficient functioning of IT resources within the organization.




Core, Essential Responsibilities 



  • Assist Line Manager on the active directory for the company.

  • Assist in managing and maintaining servers.

  • Install, set-up, configure, and maintain operating system, database and hardware according to the overall objectives of the IT Department as well as the business plans.

  • Manage user accounts and accesses on office 365 as well as domain controller.

  • Review data pertaining to user requirements, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and determine future system capacity and sizing requirements.

  • Assist managing the Office 365 Mail Platform, SharePoint online and other office 365 related products such as Yammer, Teams etc.

  • Install, configure and maintain the Firewall, routers, switch and another network equipment’s.

  • Desktop support to all users spanned in High Quality, remote offices and project site office.

  • Manage the security and integrity protocols of system according to standards.

  • Apply daily OS patches and upgrades to counter potential threats to the system.

  • Any Tasks assigned by the Line Manager



 Minimum Requirements



  Education:



Mandatory: BSc. or MSc. in Information Technology/Informatic Engineering. 



Experience:  



1-3 Years.



 Training:



MS Office Suite, Azure, Exchange Office365 Administration, SaaS




 Competencies



 Knowledge:




  • Information Technology

  • Azure Administration.

  • Active Directory Configuration.

  • Management and Troubleshoot.

  • Firewall/Router/Switches.

  • Backup and Disaster Recovery Planning.

  • Research
