Our Technology Risk Management team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati with the role of IT Support Officer.
In this role, you will act as a business management officer tasked in running IT as a business. You will evaluate improvement opportunities aimed at improving IT efficiency and maximizing IT investments and partnerships, as well as partner with other IT functional leaders to ensure effective actualization of tactical and strategic plans, and assist them in adhering to plan terms and dates with minimal deviation.

What the role will entail
- Collate and consolidate IT spending, review and endorse financial proposals, monitor budget performance, and provide regular financial reports. Track OPEX and CAPEX, process cost allocation, and conduct NPV analyses.
- Review vendor charges and contracts, audit and process invoices, manage vendor relationships, implement pricing models, and conduct performance assessments. Develop RFIs and RFPs, and ensure proper contractual mitigations.
- Attend to regulatory compliance, conduct periodic reviews, resolve audit findings, manage risk indicators, and perform control testing. Ensure adherence to policies and governance standards.
- Assist in defining and monitoring IT strategic and tactical plans, communicate strategy to IT leaders, and produce accurate monthly MIS and performance reports. Organize townhalls and maintain employee headcount data.
- Implement process-related policies and methodologies, identify and review policies and procedures, resolve QA and compliance observations, and provide administrative support to IT operations. Facilitate IT-wide recovery plans and productivity measurement tools.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Qualification in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance or Business Management is preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in at least one IT discipline such as Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, IT Operations, Production Support or Service Management, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
- At least 2 years of Business Unit or Business interfacing experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
- Experience in Retail/Corporate Banking, Loans and Mortgage, Consumer Financing, Wealth Management and Marketing, as well as dealing with Core Banking Systems is ideal
- Demonstrated experience in team contributor responsibilities in cross-functional teams across the organization, as well as a proven track record in successfully utilizing soft skills (i.e. effective communication, problem solving and decision making, negotiation, financial analysis)
