Job Description - IT Support Specialist

Job Expectations:

  • Employment Type: Full-Time; 1 Permanent / 1 Project-based
  • Work Setup & Location: Fully Onsite - Alabang, Muntinlupa
  • Work Schedule: Weekdays; Night Shift
  • Industry: IT Consulting & Services

About the Job:

We are looking for an IT Support Associate to join our client's team and provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related concerns. In this role, you will assist end-users with troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will work closely with senior IT staff to support system performance, resolve incidents efficiently, and deliver reliable technical assistance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, peripherals, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, software applications, and network devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues for end-users promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining the performance, stability, and security of IT systems and networks.
  • Run diagnostic tests and resolve hardware and software malfunctions.
  • Support LAN/WAN connectivity and other network-related concerns.
  • Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and support activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and senior IT staff on ongoing IT tasks and projects.
  • Perform other IT support duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows OS and Office 365.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts, such as LAN/WAN and peripheral devices.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical skills.
  • Flexible and willing to provide occasional support outside regular working hours.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication (written & verbal) skills.
  • Can start immediately, if possible.
