Java Spring Boot Developer

We are seeking a skilled Java Spring Boot Developer for our locations in Manila and Cebu. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience with Java/Spring Boot, with at least 1 year of uninterrupted practice, at a proficiency level of at least P2. Additionally, they should have a minimum of 6 months of continuous experience in unit testing/JUnit, also at a proficiency level of at least P2. Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services/Microservices is considered a plus.

Good to Have:

• Any AWS certification
• Familiarity with BPMN Tool
• Familiarity with DMMN Tool

Core Languages and Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery principles and practices.
• Proficient in creating unit tests and integration tests, and integrating them with continuous integration and code coverage tools to ensure comprehensive code coverage.
• Demonstrated responsibility, excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and engineer end-to-end features of systems, from frontend user experience to backend code.
• Utilize development skills to deliver innovative solutions that enhance client services.
• Implement new technologies to solve complex business problems with a cloud-first and agile mindset.
• Collaborate with leads to understand tasks, provide clarification, and propose alternative solutions.
• Assess and implement changes with high quality and thorough testing coverage.
• Review and present new changes to team members for feedback and improvement.
• Actively engage with other development and QA team members to resolve challenges.
• Provide leadership, guidance, training, and mentoring to junior team members.
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis for new features.
• Proactively contribute innovative ideas for process improvements and technical advancements.
• Evaluate, select, and formulate the best solutions for technical challenges.
• Provide support for the production environment and address escalated issues promptly as required.
