Job Description - Jr. Technical Sales Representative

General Objective of the Job

The Jr. Technical Sales Executive will act as a brand advocate in the field, engaging and connecting with prospective and existing clients to ascertain their business needs and provide relevant products and services.

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the role is expected to generate leads and increase FIC Plastic Colors Division’s market share.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented and sales-driven individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills. He/She also has strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals and is equipped with marketing strategies to attract potential clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively sell the company’s products and services and identify sales opportunities by analyzing consumer and market trends
  • Develop new accounts by researching and identifying potential leads and soliciting new business
  • Research on the latest trends in the industry to find and create opportunities to expand the business and stay up-to-date on movements of company competitors
  • Work closely with existing customers to understand their business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives
  • Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure targets and requirements are met
  • Travel within assigned territory
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualification & Other Competencies

  • Must have a Bachelor’s/College degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, or another related field
  • With proven track record in marketing, business development, and sales
  • Strong organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
  • Computer savvy
  • Superior presentation and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of company products, competition in the market, and product positioning
  • Strong understanding of the fundamental drivers of the business, customers, partners, and competitors
  • Has the ability to speak Mandarin or Hokkien
  • Willing to work in Bagumbayan, Quezon City
