Duties and Responsibilities:
Monthly Closing
Assist to reconcile Intercompany accounts.
Financial and Management Reporting
Assist to analyze monthly financial results
Assist to analyze financial KPI’s
Assist to Compile:
Packwell Operational KPI’s.
Costing Models:
Production
Shipping
Assist to distribute Treasury Reports
Assist to run Rail Car Report weekly.
Cost Accounting / Inventory (in an assistance role)
Assist in cost accounting functions.
Assist to account for Inventory, raw material, and WIP.
Assist to analyze operational KPI’s.
Assist to review variances, inventories, shipments, and manufacturing / maintenance department expenses.
Assist to analyze overtime and labor performance.
Process Documentations and Internal Controls
Assist to ensure every task performed in Accounting / Finance is well documented with detailed steps, flow charts, and/or narratives for cross training purposes.
Payroll & Labor costs
Assist to record Payroll using the ftp files.
Will handle timekeeping, record accounting transactions, and encode financial and work-related data accurately into the system
Bank Reconciliations
OTHER DUTIES
Other projects and research as delegated.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of general accounting experience with exposure to billing,
BS, Accounting.
Manufacturing industry – Not required, but desirable.
Advanced Excel.
SAGE 300 - Not required but desirable.
Be within a reasonable commuting distance.
