Jr AccountantJob Descriptiono VAT Returns:▪ Assist in the preparation and submission of accurate VAT returns.▪ Ensure all transactions are correctly classified and recorded in line with applicableVAT regulations.▪ Liaise with relevant departments to gather required documentation and information.o Financial Accounts:▪ Aid in the preparation of annual financial statements.▪ Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies andprocedures.o Management Accounts:▪ Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or yearly management accounts.▪ Collaborate with various departments to collate and analyze financial data, ensuringits accuracy and relevance.o Corporation Tax Returns:▪ Support the preparation and submission of corporation tax returns.▪ Stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.o Bookkeeping:▪ Provide ad hoc assistance with client bookkeeping asrequired.▪ Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.o General Assistance:▪ Willingly get involved in varioustasks and projects asthey arise.▪ Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.▪ Recommend improvements to existing accounting processes and procedures.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.• Proven experience in an accounting role is preferred.• 3-5 years experience• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
