Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist (with US clients experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Cash Applications: Manage incoming payment workflows, cash receipts, and application operations.
• Cash Collections: Monitor outstanding accounts receivables, identify overdue accounts for collection efforts, document and analyze collection activities and communications with customers, collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to resolve billing disputes and take legal action when necessary, and prepare and present reports on the status of collections and aging accounts.
• AR Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling balance sheet accounts such as accounts receivables, deferred revenue, and accruals. Work with the Senior Manager on complex issues and resolutions.
• AR Inbox Management: Monitor the customer support ticket portal via ZenDesk to address and resolve general questions related to customer account updates, billing questions, and billing support document requests.
• Reimbursable Expense Billing: Generate invoices for billable expenses to customers by reviewing expenses and contract terms, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Ad Hoc Requests: Assist the AR and Revenue team with urgent tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accountancy or other related field.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Proficiency in using financial software such as an ERP system; experience with Intacct software is an asset.
• Ability to work independently while meeting project and task deadlines.
• General knowledge of accounting principles.

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Hybrid setup
• Must work US Eastern Standard Time (EST)
