Junior Interior Designer

I. Purpose

The Junior Interior Designer is responsible for producing high quality project design

deliverables i.e. Test fits, initial design concepts (via digital and/or manual sketch), material

boards, construction drawings, etc…

II. Duties and responsibilities

1. The Junior Designer will work on any/all phases of the design including Pre-Design,

Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Design

Management during construction supervised by the lead project designer.

2. The Junior Designer reports to the lead project designer and/or the Principal Architect on

tasks and deliverables.

3. The Junior Designer will work closely with the lead project designer to ensure the project’s

timely completion, and that all works are by iSynergy’s quality standards.

4. The Junior Designer will also be included in pre-design activities such as site surveys, and

initial client meetings supervised by the lead project designer and/or the Principal

Architect.

III. Qualifications

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Architecture, or Interior

Design.

2. One to two years’ experience as a Designer in an Architectural or Interior Design Firm,

preferably with experience working on Offices Fit out projects.

3. A portfolio of past design and creative projects will be a plus.

4. Expert with design software and editing tools such as AutoCad, Sketchup, Vray for

Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In design, Adobe Lightroom, Enscape and AI tools.

5. Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Powerpoint,

etc…

6. Good command over design techniques and visual elements.

7. Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills.

8. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

9. Creative thinking with attention to detail.

10. Should be open to learn the standards of the company.

11. Ability to read technical drawings and/or technical manuals.
