What you'll be doing:

As a Junior Manager, Beauty Innovation, you will play a key role in bringing exciting new Make Up innovations to life for Avon consumers around the world. Acting as the central project lead for new product development initiatives, you will manage innovation projects from concept through to launch, ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple teams. You will combine strong project management skills with commercial awareness to deliver launches on time, within budget, and in line with brand objectives. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will help shape Avon’s innovation pipeline while ensuring flawless execution and an exceptional consumer experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing end-to-end innovation projects across the Avon Make Up portfolio, from concept approval through commercial launch.
• Building and maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and launch readiness activities.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams including Product Development, Packaging, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Sales, Creative, and Digital.
• Leading project status meetings, monitoring progress, and resolving challenges to keep projects on track.
• Identifying potential risks and implementing proactive mitigation plans.
• Ensuring all launch deliverables, including formulations, packaging, artwork, regulatory approvals, and production requirements, are completed on time.
• Managing innovation trackers, launch calendars, and project documentation across multiple initiatives.
• Supporting the development of the annual innovation roadmap and identifying opportunities for future product innovation.
• Analyzing market trends, consumer insights, competitor activity, and emerging beauty trends to support innovation planning.
• Supporting product positioning, pricing strategies, claims development, and business case creation for new launches.
• Partnering with commercial and sales teams to ensure successful launch execution and readiness.
• Coordinating the development of launch materials, product education content, and training resources.
• Tracking post-launch performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Acting as a key point of contact for project stakeholders across local, regional, and global teams.
• Preparing project updates, dashboards, presentations, and launch performance reports for leadership reviews.
• Contributing to process improvements that enhance innovation governance, efficiency, and speed to market.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Product Development, Innovation, Project Management, or a related area.
• Experience within FMCG, beauty, cosmetics, personal care, or consumer goods industries would be an advantage.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
• Understanding of product development and commercialization processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Stage-Gate innovation processes is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
• Commercial awareness combined with a strong consumer-focused approach.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and collaborative environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
