Job Description - Junior Presales & Solutions Engineer (I.T)


Our brand, Lennor Metier Consultinga DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a Multinational Information Technology and Electronics Company in their search for a Junior Presales & Solutions Engineer based in Makati.


 


Salary Range: ₱40,000 - ₱50,000


Work Setup: Onsite 


Shift Schedule: Day Shift


Location: Makati City


 


The role


The Junior Pre-Sales & Solutions Engineer works to improve the clients market position as a leading provider of solutions that improves the lives of the people. He/she is tasked to deliver solutions that comply with customer requirement and vision.


 


Your Responsibilities:


 Business Development


1. Represent the client as a thought leader in technologies that can improve the lives of the people and society as a whole


2. Work closely with sales team to ensure a stable level of customer pipeline or funnel 


3. Identify customers’ pain and issue and provide consultative advice to promote the clients solutions into the system


4. Research and build relationships with new clients.


5. Develop a strategic solution that is in line with customers’ requirement and vision.


 6. Establish themselves and the client as a consultative partner to the customer in order to pitch ideas that will lead to more sales for the company


7. Participate in creating the corresponding full packaged services offer that will suite the solutions crafted for the customer


8. Evaluate the responses from the Solutions Presales to ensure the profitability of the project while delivering that best solution for the customer


9. Create and present current offers and solutions roadmap during customer meetings, workshops and events delivering the clients message and vision


10. Monitor their respective BU revenue performance and make proper actions to ensure the delivery of committed revenue to the principal


11. Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.


 


Business Development Planning


1. Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.


2. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.


3.Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.


4. Work with internal staff to ensure that all required documents are available and updated and can be submitted to any external requirements such as private or public bidding etc.


 


SW Development and Analysis


1. Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.


2. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code


3. Prepares and installs POC solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.


4. Software developer should be able to interact with other application teams for solutions.


5. Should be able to perform a quick first-level analysis.


6. Modify and give recommendations for application configurations based on system performance.


7. Review code and ensure delivery quality and integration to future versions.


8. Define UAT support and production support plans.


9. Analyze, design, develop, and support various changes to enhance and grow/expand existing solutions.


10. Develop and present proof of concept software for prospective clients.


 


What we're looking for:


• Graduate of Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent computer courses with focus in SW development


• Preferably with Post Graduate units earned in Business Administration and/or Engineering or any related field.


• Preferably with five (5) years work experience as Product or Solutions or Pre-Sales Engineer in a service-oriented industry in all areas of Client Servicing.


• 2 to 3 years relevant work experience both in the Public or Private Sector


• With experience in Networking (IT), Data Center (Server Dimensioning, DB Management)
