JOB DESCRIPTION FOR JUNIOR QUALITY SPECIALIST

We are seeking a Junior Quality Specialist supports the Internal Audit Supervisor in conducting, planning, and documenting internal audits related to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and other emerging standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 22301, NIST CSF).. Very good clear English communication skills are required.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about information security, audit compliance, and continuous improvement in a growing, standards-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and executing internal audits for ISO/IEC 27001:2022 across departments in line with Clause 9.2 Internal Audit requirements
• Support audit documentation, evidence gathering, and reporting processes
• Contribute to maintaining and improving the ISMS (Information Security Management System), particularly around audit and risk treatment documentation
• Help maintain and update the Statement of Applicability (SoA) based on audit outcomes and risk treatment plans
• Coordinate and follow up on audit findings, corrective actions, and continual improvement items
• Audit readiness for other ISO standards and compliance frameworks adopted by Boomering
• Participate in compliance training, awareness programs, and information security meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Internal Audit, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience in a quality, audit, or information security environment
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 or other ISO management systems, and Annex A controls
• Good documentation and reporting skills, working to time constraints
• Basic understanding of risk assessments, controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Exposure to ISO internal audit practices (e.g., 9001, 22301, 27001)
• Knowledge of audit lifecycle: planning, execution, reporting, follow-up
• Experience with tools for document control, risk registers, or audit tracking
• Able to earn the respect of Auditees through an organized and process-based approach, focusing key controls and on adding value
• Able to analyze, listen and see process weaknesses or improvement opportunities
• Clear, concise and partnering communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information
• Continuous learner with a quality-driven mindset
• Comfortable with multitasking and working cross-functionally
