KDN Associate Director - Finance - SAP

We are hiring on behalf of a global professional services organization recognized for its deep expertise in audit, tax, and advisory. Serving top-tier clients across industries, the firm provides strategic solutions to address complex business challenges with integrity and insight.

We are looking for a visionary and experienced Associate Director Solution Architect specializing in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Finance (FICO). The ideal candidate will lead the design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA solutions, providing strategic direction, ensuring best-practice integration, and enabling large-scale business transformations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solution architecture for engagements involving SD and Finance modules

• Define solution strategy and roadmap for Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report processes

• Design and optimize integrated business processes such as sales order management, billing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting

• Engage with senior leadership and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with transformation objectives

• Guide implementation of RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, and SAP Activate methodology

• Oversee integration of SD and FICO processes, including pricing, tax, revenue accounting, and reconciliation

• Conduct workshops, fit-gap sessions, and high-level architecture reviews

• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, legal/regulatory requirements, and internal governance

• Mentor consultants and managers, supporting talent development within the practice

• Contribute to pre-sales activities such as solutioning, estimation, and proposal development

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 13 years of SAP experience with 3+ full-cycle S/4HANA implementations

• Deep functional expertise in SAP SD (Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management) and SAP FICO (GL, AR, AP, Controlling, Asset Accounting)

• Strong experience in cross-module integration: SD FICO, revenue recognition, financial postings, tax

• Proficiency in S/4HANA innovations: Universal Journal, Advanced ATP, Settlement Management, Group Reporting

• Hands-on knowledge of SAP Activate, Fit-to-Standard delivery, and Agile/hybrid project methodologies

• Familiarity with SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Fiori-based apps

• Proven leadership in global SAP programs with complex stakeholder environments

Certifications

• Required: SAP S/4HANA Sales and SAP S/4HANA Finance Certifications

• Preferred: SAP Solution Architect, PMP, Prince2, or equivalent

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field (e.g., B.Tech, MBA, CA)
