Associate Director - SAP Finance Lead

This role requires deep expertise in SAP FI/CO, a strong grasp of finance transformation strategies, and proven experience leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, ensure delivery excellence, and inspire high-performing teams while engaging with senior stakeholders across global clients

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programs across diverse industries.
• Define and execute finance strategies, solution architectures, and delivery roadmaps in line with Powered Enterprise methodologies.
• Provide thought leadership on RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, and SAP BTP solutions.
• Partner with CXOs and senior stakeholders to shape digital finance transformation journeys.
• Drive pre-sales, solutioning, and proposal development for strategic SAP engagements.
• Manage large, distributed delivery teams, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.
• Facilitate executive workshops, blueprinting sessions, and design authority reviews.
• Oversee the development of TO-BE process designs, functional specifications, and integration strategies.
• Collaborate across SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and SuccessFactors to ensure seamless solutions.
• Champion innovation through SAP Analytics Cloud, Group Reporting, and Central Finance.
• Mentor and develop talent across all levels, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Required Skills & Experience

• 13+ years of experience inSAP FI/CO, with at least4 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.

• Proven leadership inFinance TransformationandSAP program delivery.

• Deep expertise in: General Ledger (New GL) , Accounts Payable/Receivable , Asset Accounting ,Bank Accounting , Controlling (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, CO-PA)

• Strong understanding ofUniversal Journal (ACDOCA)andGroup Reporting.

• Experience withSAP Central Finance,SAP BTP, andcloud deployment models.

• Familiarity withSAP Activate methodology,agile delivery, andDevOps practices.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.

• Experience inLife Sciences,Consumer Products, orFinancial Services.

• Exposure toESG reporting,tax compliance, andglobal regulatory frameworks.

• Knowledge ofAI/ML use cases in finance,predictive analytics, andprocess automation.

Educational Background

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Administration.
