Lead eLearning Developer

Developers/Programmers (Information & Communication Technology)

The Lead eLearning Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality eLearning courses and programs for various clients and audiences. The Lead eLearning Developer will supervise a team of eLearning Developers and will work closely with the Product Manager, Change Manager, assigned Trainers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to ensure that the eLearning products meet the learning objectives, standards, and expectations of the clients and learners. 

SCOPE OF WORK

• Lead the eLearning development process from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring that the eLearning products are aligned with the instructional design, client specifications, and quality standards. 
• Manage the eLearning development team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to the eLearning Developers, and ensuring that they adhere to the project timelines, budget, and quality standards. 
• Develop eLearning courses and programs using various authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, etc., and integrate multimedia elements, such as audio, video, animations, graphics, etc., to enhance the learning experience. 
• Apply standard principles and formats, learning theories, and instructional design models to create engaging, interactive, and effective eLearning products that cater to different learning styles and preferences. 
• Manage eLearning channels in learning platform 
• Collaborate with but not limited to the Product Managers and Business Analysts when needed, Instructional Designers, Trainers, Subject Matter Experts, and other eLearning Developers to review, test, and revise the eLearning products, ensuring that they are error-free, user-friendly, and accessible. 
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in eLearning development, and share the knowledge and skills with the eLearning development team and other stakeholders. 
• Ensures all completed materials will be stored in the central repository of artifacts.

QUALIFICATIONS   

• Bachelor's degree in video production, multimedia design, or related field 
• At least 5 years of professional experience in video and multimedia development, preferably in a digital marketing or e-learning environment 
• Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, etc. 
• Skilled in graphic design, animation, audio production, and web development tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, Audition, etc. 
• Knowledge of video and multimedia formats, standards, and best practices for web and mobile delivery 
• Strong portfolio of video and multimedia projects that demonstrate creativity, innovation, and impact 
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills 
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment 
• Passionate about digital media and learning new skills and technologies 
• A bachelor's degree or higher in eLearning, instructional design, educational technology, or a related field. 
• At least five years of experience in eLearning development, preferably in a lead or senior role. 
• Proficient in using various eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, etc., and familiar with SCORM, xAPI, and other eLearning standards and formats. 
• Excellent knowledge of instructional principles, learning theories, and instructional design models, and ability to apply them to eLearning development. 
• Creative and innovative. 
• Detail-oriented, organized, and quality-conscious, with strong skills in change management, communication, and collaboration. 
• Passionate about eLearning and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
