Job Description - Lead Generation Manager / SDR

Are you a commercially minded lead generation specialist who knows how to research deeply, use AI properly, and create real sales opportunities?



We’re looking for a sharp, strategic Lead Generation Manager / SDR to join our Manila team at Expo Centric. This role is perfect for someone who is part researcher, part SDR, part AI operator, and part sales strategist — someone who can identify the right companies, find decision-makers, personalise outreach, and help build a high-performing outbound sales engine.

🔍 What You’ll Do


· Research and identify potential clients across Australia and international markets, with a focus on exhibitions, trade shows, events, conferences, and brand activations.
· Build targeted lead lists using LinkedIn, event directories, exhibitor lists, websites, AI tools, CRM data, and other research methods.
· Use AI tools to improve prospect research, outreach personalisation, segmentation, call preparation, and workflow efficiency.
· Identify and qualify leads based on company size, event activity, budget potential, decision-makers, and commercial fit.
· Reach out to prospects through email, LinkedIn, phone, and other outbound channels.
· Book qualified meetings for the Australian sales team.
· Maintain accurate lead and activity data in HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
· Create lead generation workflows and help improve outreach processes.
· Track activity, conversion rates, and lead quality to improve campaign performance.
· Work closely with sales, marketing, and management to refine targeting, messaging, and lead generation strategy.
· Stay across AI tools and recommend smarter ways to research, prospect, automate, and scale outbound activity.



✅ What You Bring


· Experience in lead generation, SDR, BDR, appointment setting, outbound sales, or sales research.
· Strong understanding of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Clay, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
· Excellent research skills and the ability to find accurate company and decision-maker information.
· Strong written and spoken English.
· Confidence making outbound calls and sending personalised outreach.
· A highly organised, process-driven approach to work.
· Confidence using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
· The ability to work toward targets, activity metrics, and performance outcomes.
· Commercial awareness — you understand what makes a lead worth pursuing.
· A curious, resourceful mindset and the confidence to figure things out.



⭐ Nice to Have


· Experience working with Australian companies.
· Experience in exhibitions, events, conferences, B2B marketing, construction, design, or creative industries.
· Experience using tools such as Apollo, Lusha, ZoomInfo, Seamless, Clay, Instantly, Smartlead, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
· Previous experience managing or improving lead generation systems.
