Job Description

The HR Strategy supports the overall direction of the business and will be achieved by:

  • Promote and safeguard the IKEA culture by being a role model who expresses the IKEA values in all L&D operational matters and people agenda
  • Be an active contributor in the formulation, communication and implementation of regional and local competence development strategies, tools and programs in close cooperation with store HR Generalists
  • Actively promote the implementation of the store and regional training calendar in close cooperation with the regional competence HUB and the functional Learning & Development Specialists
  • Support the implementation of local and regional pool of trainers' programs in the training calendar
  • Actively contribute and secure the process of performance evaluation & development talk, and talent review process in partnership with the store HR Generalists
  • Ensure investments and budget allocation for all learning activities with clear goal settings
  • Responsible for the automated training records and relevant reports in the established HR information system

Qualifications

  • You are passionate about home furnishing;
  • You have atleast 3 years experience in a Training and Development role (with focus on Needs 
  • Analysis, Training Program Development and Facilitation, Training Evaluation);
  • You are proactive to collaborate with subject matter experts in designing and developing comprehensive training programs and materials;
  • You can create and execute learning strategies and programs;
  • You can evaluate individual and organizational development needs;
  • You can implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training);
  • You have advanced competency in L&D reporting data analysis;
  • You are knowledgeable in training budgeting and forecasting;
  • You are able to evaluate and analyze training evaluation metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of training programs;
  • You are passionate about developing people and having a strong belief in individual’s potential;
  • You are able to demonstrate leadership capabilities and build strong relationships with key leaders, managers, and co-workers to understand their needs and challenges;
  • You are a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance on learning and development matters;
  • You use insights to make data-driven recommendations for training program improvements.
