Job Description - Learning & Development Specialist

The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible in developing training modules. He/she ensures that training materials are designed according to the specific requirements of the target learners of the training programs.

Training Needs Assessment & Analysis

  • Conducts assessment and gather data from the stakeholders.
  • Consolidates and gather initial insights and assessment from FGD, survey result or document review.

Training Design & Development

  • Conducts research-based module content based on the approved design by the stakeholders / workgroup.
  • Develops training materials based on the identified timeline.
  • Proposes and explore new software and tools needed to design and develop the training materials.
  • Develops storyboard for VBT and CBT modules.

Training Implementation & Monitoring

  • Manages schedule, resources and logistics of the program based on timeline.
  • Facilitates training modules to the target learners.
  • Ensure delivery of training programs based on the identified learning methodologies.
  • Maintains program records and database and provide training progress report to the stakeholders on a timely manner.
  • Manages the LMS platform and monitor the CBT courses under MI.
  • Monitors the enrolment and CBT training of the training programs. Provides technical assistance to the learners as needed.

Training Evaluation

  • Facilitates evaluation of the training programs.
  • Consolidates and generate initial insights from the evaluation result.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human resource management, multimedia, or related courses.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in a variety of multimedia, digital training platforms, and learning methods (LMS, Adobe applications, Articulate applications, MS Office applications).
  • Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City (hybrid set-up).
