About the Role

As a Learning Experience Designer, your responsibilities will include serving as the Learning Systems super user, creating engaging, fun, and clear system communications, designing and updating the user interface to be clear, simple, easy to navigate, and easy to update, as well as creating learning resources.

Some of the things we expect you to do are to:

• Update and create engaging messaging and communication delivered via the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Design System UX interfaces to enhance user experience.
• Design icons, branding and graphics for each course/program.
• Create and extract data insights.
• Maintain data integrity.
• Conduct regular system content audits to ensure the course library is current.
• Update course content as required.
• Design learning solutions and courses based on business requirements.
• Create engaging learning pathways for all periods in an employee’s life cycle.
• Critically assess and update existing content available.
• Support the L&D manager in the creation of digital learning resources that complement face-to-face training programs.
• Design engaging UX interfaces on the LMS for the distinct brands in the business.
• Conduct compliance checks/audits of employee completion for all learning pathways and training.
• Partner with the People and Culture team to support all the employee’s individual
• Development Plans (IDP) and learning pathways regularly.
• Support the People and Culture team with relevant Learning and Development communication to drive engagement in all business L&D activities, ensuring a seamless employee experience.
• Presentation skills on an ad-hoc basis eg. team meetings, and business updates.
• Manage tasks efficiently.
• Keeping data well-organised.
• Maintain a high standard of confidentiality and data protection, adhering to best practices in safeguarding sensitive information.

We would need you to be or have the following:

• Experience with LMS is a plus!
• 3 years of instructional design experience
• Familiar with Articulate 360 and Rise
• Experience with Canva
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

It would be awesome if you are or also have:

• Experience with Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint is preferred
• Video editing skills are a big plus!
