What you’ll do

Are you a detail-oriented professional with legal billing experience and a passion for financial operations? We're looking for a Legal Billing Associate to join our team in Makati. In this role, you’ll manage a high volume of legal service provider invoices, ensure compliance with billing standards, and support global legal and finance teams.

• Review and approve legal service provider invoices in compliance with billing guidelines


• Ensure accurate accounting codes and adherence to financial policies


• Prepare and upload invoices manually when needed


• Investigate and resolve outstanding invoice issues with internal teams and external law firms


• Assist in accruals and follow-ups for unbilled time


• Liaise with global stakeholders including Legal, AP, Accounting, outside counsel, and billing teams


• Address system integration issues with AP and Financial Operations


• Submit vendor updates and verify banking details to ensure timely payment processing


• Support vendor onboarding in coordination with AP


• Create and manage legal matters in LegalTracker for accurate spend tracking


• Generate reports using Workday Financials and LegalTracker


• Provide administrative support for global legal billing and matter management

What we’re looking for

• Based in Manila


• 5+ years of overall professional experience


• 2+ years of domain experience in Legal Billing, ideally in a start-up company or in-house legal team


• Proven experience in legal billing or finance operations, preferably in a legal department, start-up, or shared services environment


• Strong understanding of invoice processing, billing compliance, and financial policies


• Familiarity with invoice tracking systems and ability to upload invoices manually


• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams, including Legal, AP, Accounting, and external counsel


• Proficiency with legal spend management tools (e.g., LegalTracker) and financial systems (e.g., Workday Financials)
