Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform oversight functions relative to PHMC meetings such as review of minutes, matters arising, and record keeping, among others.

· Provide legal support and advice to management on relevant legal issues.

· Ensure compliance with the internal controls, statutory regulations, and other formalities.

· Review and revise internal policies and procedures.

· Calculate and mitigate legal and data privacy risks in business process and decision making.

· Draft and review legal documents such as vendor agreements, B2B contracts, outsourcing agreements, employment contracts, etc.

· Handle cases before regular courts and relevant regulatory agencies.

· Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function

· Assist the Chief Legal Counsel and DPO in conducting periodic data privacy impact assessments, data privacy awareness seminars and data privacy breach notification.

· Such other duties and responsibilities may be delegated by the Chief Legal Counsel and DPO from time to time.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in law

· Licensed to practice law in the Philippines Minimum of 5 years' experience as a lawyer, preferably in a BSP-supervised financial institution or information technology company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php110,000.00 per month
