Air Liquide Philippines, a fully owned subsidiary of Air Liquide Group, started its operations in 1994 and currently employs 230+ people. We operate air separation units (ASU), hydrogen plants, carbon dioxide plants, cylinder refilling stations and depots, on-site plants and pipelines nationwide. Our main plant is situated in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, and our head office is in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. We serve a wide spectrum of markets and industries including electronics, food processing, pharmaceuticals, metals, automotive, shipbuilding, and hospitals. Air Liquide Philippines is ISO 9001:2008 certified as well as GMP certified for medical oxygen. In addition, our liquid carbon dioxide plant in Pasig City filled the requirements for Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) for the manufacture of this gas as a food additive. As a Legal Counsel, you are responsible to actively lead in addressing the legal concerns of the entity and champion and protect the rights of the company and ensure compliances by providing legal advice, render legal opinion and represent the company in legal proceedings and dealings with internal and external parties.
Legal
To lead in addressing the legal concerns of the Company
To handle cases (initiate, monitor, complete) for the company and represent the company in judicial, quasi judicial and administrative hearings
Render legal opinion on company concerns including customer and supplier relations and contacts implementation
Provide legal support to internal stakeholders
Assist in the drafting of contracts and the review of contracts
Manage a contracts database and entity policies
Facilitate legal trainings
Act as the Company's Corporate Secretary
Manage the notarial services for the Company
Act as entity's Ethics Officer
Compliance
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on compliances
Lobby on rules and regulations with the relevant government agencies
Provide legal opinion on regulatory compliances
Provide guidance on compliance requirements and processes
Monitor and assist in securing PEZA, BOC and facility-related permits
Oversee IRC compliance and monitoring and manage ParaDM on permits
Lead IRC audit and rounds
Provide updates on regulations and conduct relevant trainings
Lead the regulatory compliance on special projects
Assist in the drafting of proposals and contracts
Review contracts and correspondences on projects
Bachelor Degree in Law with a minimum of 5 years in corporate law
Strong knowledge of contract management & drafting and also experience in conducting legal training.
Strong knowledge of local and state regulations.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
High ethical standards and integrity.
