Job Description - Legal Manager - Onsite

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Communication Conduit:

  • Report to HQ legal head and PH President
  • Act as primary contact point of the company for all legal and regulatory matters.
  • Regular update and report to headquarter in Shanghai, China.
  • Provide legal advice to the business and its leaders
  • Advising the CEO and other senior corporate officers on a variety of issues
  • Maintain, update corporate and licensing documents

● Draft and review various kind of contracts, including aligning translation between English and Tagalog.

● Draft and review various kind of internal policies (e.g., online privacy policy, risk disclosure)

● Establish contract storage and management system

● Helping in negotiate of contracts

Teamworking:

● Implement and conduct investigation and assessment requested by the government (e.g., Privacy Impact Assessment or other)

● Provide basic legal trainings to fellow colleagues.

  • Familiarize with the process and product of the Company
  • Assist the legal head in handling client's complaints.
  • Registered as the Designated Corporate Secretary/DPO/Compliance officer for AMLC
  • Maintain good relationship with external lawyers
  • Provide legal advice to the Group and management in relation to Filipino laws and
  • Attends administrative Hearings at SEC, NPC (may be delegated to junior legal officer)
  • Sends Letters and Opinions to different Gov't agencies. (Junior legal officer may assist in preparation)
  • Drafts all legal documents needed by the corporation, correspondence, advisories, memo,notes.
  • Provide legal advice to the business and its leaders
  • Identifying and mitigating legal risks
  • Helping to draft, vet and negotiate contracts
  • Conducting legal training for staff
  • Advising on the legal implications of company pelicies and procedures
  • Ensuring all contracts, legal documents and templates are up-to-date and compliant with statutory
  • Reporting on legal activities, risks and litigation

Developing and leading corperate legal strategy to promote and protect the company's matters

• Developing and leading internal audit and corperate compliance programs

Oversecing delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies and pr

  • Maintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, state and federal governmental be legislatures and the community at large
  • Advising the CEO and other senior corporate officers on a variety of issues
  • Participating in the formulation of general management policy as a member of the executive mana Make sure that KPI's and KRA's in your position are met according to company standards..
  • Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATION:

  • Legal education in a reputable universitytop 5 law school in the Philippines is a must
  • 45 years solid experience in international law firm and/or reputable LC/FC.
  • Experienced in litigations and dispute resolutions
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of Tagalog and English. Knowledge of written and spoken Chinese is a major advantage.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills Must have good legal research skills With good negotiation and presentation skills
  • Must have strong leadership / Managerial Skills
  • Abeve Average Good oral and written communication skills excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Trustworthy and can maintain confidentiality
