My client is a Hong Kong based Company, one of the market leaders in garment sourcing.

Position Overview

As a Logistics Manager, the incumbent will lead a team of professionals to oversee regional logistics operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the transportation of finished
garments/ textile products manufactured in the Asia, ensuring their efficient shipment from Asia to North America and other International markets. You will be tasked with monitoring and
improving the performance of forwarders, service providers and vendors/factories in the region, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals.
• Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations for products produced in the Asia including China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia etc.
• Coordinate and manage shipments from Asia to North America and other International markets
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of freight forwarders, service providers and vendors/factories
• Implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with regional and international shipping and exports/ imports regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.
• Train and develop logistics professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Utilize MS D365 and other collaboration tools to manage logistics operations effectively.

Education & Experience

• Minimum bachelor degree in business related disciplines 10 years work experience in logistics with at least 5 years in managerial position
• Strong knowledge in textile and wearing apparels logistics
• Experience operating under multiple business models and transactions, work experience in traders are preferred.
