Maintenance and Engineering Head

Responsibilities:

• Performs regular inspection of major highways and structures to ensure the safety comfort and convenience to motorist;
• Ensure that the conduct of routine, preventive and periodic maintenance of major highway facilities are of the highest standard in engineering practice and compliant with the statutory and regulatory bodies mandate;
• Create cost-efficient maintenance program for implementation by the in-house maintenance personnel and/or outsourced contractors in accordance with the approved specification;
• Create, execute and monitor maintenance program of all mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure continuity of operation;
• Ensure civil works maintenance activities are regularly undertaken in main and satellite offices;
• Propose activities to maximize the company resources while delivering excellent customer experience to the road users and other stakeholders;
• Propose yearly operating expenses aligned with the planned activities and manage company spending to ensure that the department operates within the approved budget;
• Undertake other special project as per mandate by Corporate Office;
• Ensure that the maintenance concerns related to the operations of the Departments and affiliate Businesses are addressed accordingly;
• Ensure proper coordination with relevant Government Agencies on matters related to operating permit requirements as necessary;
• Implement and execute approved development programs to the assigned team personnel which will enable them to grow within the organization;
• Manage group of supervisors and other inorganic personnel to ensure manpower resources are motivated and fully maximized;
• Ensure that the maintenance activities of the department is aligned.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Civil Engineer, with minimum fifteen (15) years technical and construction experience, 10 years supervisory position.
• Must have above average communication skills, both written and oral.
• Willing to work full time onsite in Calamba, Laguna.
