Maintenance Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational. You will play a vital part in supporting smooth day-to-day operations by carrying out preventive maintenance, addressing repair needs, and coordinating with service providers when necessary.

  Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure functionality and safety.

  Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems.

  Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues effectively.

  Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for major repairs or specialized services.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, supplies, and repair schedules.

  Monitor inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies, and request replenishment when needed.

  Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

  Provide recommendations for facility improvements and cost-effective maintenance practices.
  

  
  

• 
  

  Proven experience as a Maintenance Officer, Technician, or similar role.

  Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems.

  Ability to troubleshoot and carry out repairs efficiently.

  Good organizational and time-management skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for urgent repairs.

  
  


• 
  

  Vocational/technical certification in maintenance, engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
