Manager Accounting

We are seeking a self-starter and independent Account Manager to supervise our accounting team in the Philippines. You will lead the team in their work to prepare accurate accounts, financial reports and budgets. Also responsible for analyzing the site’s performance compared to budgets and benchmarks. Lead the efforts to close the monthly books, reconcile all key accounts, and assure adherence to the Company’s internal control practices and policies.

What you will do:

• Supervise, develop, and motivate the accounting accounting/financial personnel in the Philippines.
• Produce accurate and timely financial reports and analysis to interpret financial results and make specific recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Set and maintain discipline around the month-end closing process, budget preparation process, and other reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and present financial information to our internal customers, including the General manager, team leaders across the site, and external customers (e.g. Government agencies and auditors)
• Lead efforts to continuously improve the accounting and financial processes within the site which includes using software tools to perform data extraction from ERP systems and complex manipulation in Microsoft Excel .
  

What you will bring:

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) ideally within a trading/distribution/manufacturing environment or relevant exposure to such as part of public accounting experience.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and ability to lead, motivate and develop personnel are necessary.
• An ability to work productively and positively in a deadline-driven environment.
