Job Overview：

As the agency's managing director, you are responsible for all business & financial operations, processes, team structure, and client strategic planning. Provide the CEO with business insights, analysis, budgeting, operational planning, options, and support for vision setting and strategic direction. You do this by maintaining effective relationships with all clients, overseeing research, projects, and ongoing client work, and participating in planning and driving strategy with guidance from specialists and strategists. You are also responsible for nurturing the team’s efficiency, retention, and growth, which includes managing capacity, guiding professional development, and facilitating internal communications among workgroups (Organic Search, Paid Media, Account Management, and the Executive Team).

• Business and financial operations: Managing resources and ensuring the agency is profitable 

• Strategic planning: Setting goals for growth and shareholder return and formulating plans to achieve them 

• Client service: Nurturing client partnerships and working to retain top clients 

• Team management: Growing the agency's team and ensuring key members are retained 

• Agency culture: Fostering a fun and inclusive workplace that supports professional growth 

Key objectives and metrics:

• Maximizing retention of top clients

• Growing existing client accounts by 20% in net revenue

• Maximizing retention of key team members 

• Sales & business development support

Job Requirements：

1. Formerly from Big Six advertising agencies, 

2. Five years of marketing advertising agency experience on professional marketing accounts.

3. Three years of related managerial experience in an agency setting (managing direct reports).

4. Demonstrated ability to effectively implement digital marketing services (SEO, Paid Media, Analytics, Social Media), with a working knowledge of the agency’s integrated services. Must be able to speak confidently to all client contacts, from C-Level down, about all Klaiya services and solutions, explaining benefits in the context of a client’s business.

5. Demonstrated ability to understand a client’s unique and complex business dynamics and ensure the team provides exceptional service marketing support that delights and elevates.

6. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team of account executives, digital strategists, and digital specialists.

7. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage team capacity, with a 100% average billable utilization target.

8. Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.

9. Superior analysis, writing, communication, and presentation skills.
