A dynamic branding and distribution firm is entering the “parental hacks” product space, focusing on Amazon retail. This fast-moving venture thrives on data-driven insights, trend forecasting, and innovative product ideation that makes parenting easier—creating items with year-round appeal rather than seasonal limitations.
We are seeking a Market Intelligence Manager with deep Amazon expertise to join our growing team. Reporting to the Omni-Channel Account Manager in Los Angeles, you will research trending products that could be branded as “parental hacks”, analyze high-volume Amazon search terms, and identify white-space opportunities. Your insights will directly shape the brand’s product innovation pipeline—your role is to generate high-impact product concepts, not to source them.
Core Responsibilities
Keyword & Trend Research
Identify high‑volume Amazon search terms for smart, practical products that help people caring for children save time, work more efficiently, and solve everyday challenges—ensuring product ideas match what shoppers are actively looking for all year.
Monitor emerging trends via Amazon’s Movers & Shakers, Best Sellers, and influencer‑driven content.
Use tools like Jungle Scout, AMZScout, SmartScout, Helium 10 (Cerebro/Xray), Sonar, or Sellerhook to extract actionable insights.
Enhance listings with optimized titles, bullets, backend keywords, and descriptions for improved discoverability
White‑Space & Opportunity Analysis
Identify parental hack products that offer high demand, low competition, low seasonality, and strong profit potential
Analyze competitors’ keywords and product strategies to find market gaps.
Product Ideation
Propose innovative product concepts grounded in keyword and trend data, focusing on year-round appeal over seasonal ephemeral items.
Emphasize products that genuinely simplify parenting tasks and align with “parental hack” ethos.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with the company’s Omni‑Channel Account Manager, aligning on strategy and progress.
Deliver actionable insights to support product development and go-to-market decisions.
Must-Haves for This Role
Proven background in Amazon market intelligence, keyword research, or related roles.
Proficiency with Jungle Scout, AMZScout, SmartScout, Helium 10 (Cerebro/Xray), Sonar, Sellerhook, or similar platforms
Ability to identify and evaluate high-potential niches through data.
Skill in balancing search volume, competition, seasonality, and margin to pinpoint viable opportunities
Clear, concise communication to align with the LA-based manager and internal stakeholders.
Team-oriented mindset to support the brand’s growth.
