Job Description - *Marketing Assistant

Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Location: Remote (PST Time zone)
Salary Range: $800 - $1,440 USD
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM PST
NOTE: INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various marketing tasks, including managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and supporting our community management efforts. This role requires a proactive individual with a good understanding of Canva, basic video editing skills, and experience in managing Facebook and Facebook groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Manage and create content for Facebook and Facebook groups.
  • Design visually appealing graphics and marketing materials using Canva.
  • Perform basic video editing to create promotional content.
  • Engage with and manage our online community.
  • Monitor and report on social media performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with team members to support various marketing initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Canva for graphic design.
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • Experience managing Facebook pages and groups.
  • Strong written and medium-level spoken English skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in community management.
  • Familiarity with additional social media platforms and tools.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
