Job Description - Marketing Automation Specialist

The Impact You Will Have

Reporting to the Senior Manager, GTM Process and Technology, you will be part of an internal B2B Marketing team that supports both internal and external partners in delivering exceptional customer and employee experiences through data, technology, reporting, and process optimization.

You will be responsible for executing integrated marketing campaigns, driving continuous improvements, and optimizing the value and impact of the Marketing Automation Platform and Asana platforms to enhance both customer and employee experiences.

The Marketing Automation Specialist is a power user of the Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) and is responsible for the functional setup, testing, launch, and ongoing maintenance of automated online marketing campaigns.

Our ideal candidate is a fast learner who is energetic, collaborative, flexible, and capable of working cross -functionally while balancing a variety of responsibilities in a fast -paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Marketing Automation Platform & Campaign Execution

  • Develop deep expertise in the Marketing Automation Platform to support campaign management and execution, process improvements, and optimization.
  • Execute, test, and report on integrated marketing campaigns that support our go -to -market strategy.
  • Leverage the Marketing Automation Platform, Asana, and the website to create canvases, emails, landing pages, forms, filters, and reports.
  • Create and maintain Marketing Automation Platform templates for use by other GTM team members.
  • Troubleshoot and manage Marketing Automation Platform issues as they arise, collaborating closely with Oracle and IT teams.
  • Assist the GTM Operations team with lead scoring and management, data management, and campaign execution through the Marketing Automation Platform.
  • Research and apply marketing automation best practices while working toward Marketing Automation Platform certification.

Process & Campaign Optimization

  • Analyze, develop, and optimize marketing processes through Marketing Automation Platform integrations.
  • Provide oversight and strategic recommendations to optimize the execution and performance of marketing campaigns within the Marketing Automation Platform, with a focus on events and webinars.
  • Support the Event team with surveys, lead management processes, and governance.
  • Partner with the Demand Generation team to provide multi -channel campaign recommendations.
  • Champion best practices that maximize sales and marketing effectiveness while creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for optimization by translating business requirements into technical specifications and executing improvements that support exceptional customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX).

Governance & User Support

  • Govern the Marketing Automation Platform environment, including process management, campaign governance, asset management, and user management for the Event team.
  • Provide user support and training, serving as the go -to resource for the Marketing Automation Platform Kiosk and Asana.
  • Maintain training documentation and job aids, while developing new processes and training materials.
  • Support an initial group of 50 users, scaling to 200+ users as adoption increases and the tools are rolled out more broadly.
  • Assist in the development and governance of processes to ensure adherence, smooth campaign execution, and visibility into campaign status, risks, and issues.
  • Develop and maintain supporting process documentation, training presentations, and job aids.
  • Monitor platform usage and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Project Work

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the execution and management of cross -functional projects involving the Marketing Automation Platform, Salesforce, Softchoice.com, Asana, and other ad hoc initiatives identified through process management and governance.
  • Help identify projects, define project scope, and execute initiatives aligned with the Marketing Automation Platform roadmap.


Requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • 2–4 years of business and marketing experience.
  • 1–2 years of hands -on marketing automation execution experience required.
  • Experience with Oracle Marketing Automation Platform required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Some knowledge of SQL is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Salesforce required.
  • Knowledge of web page design, online form data capture, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at both technical and strategic levels.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast -paced environment.
  • Strong data evaluation and analytical skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • University degree or College diploma preferred, ideally in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
