Job Description - Marketing Executive (SEO) - China

The Marketing Executive plays a crucial role in developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies. The primary goal will be to increase online visibility, drive organic and paid traffic, and optimize website performance to achieve business objectives, and digital marketing.RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Keyword Research and Analysis: - Conducts comprehensive keyword research to identify targeted keywords and phrases. - Analyzes keyword trends and competition to guide website content optimization.2. On-Page Optimization: - Enhances website content, meta tags, and headers for improved search engine visibility. - Ensures seamless keyword integration, compelling content, and an enriched user experience.3. Technical SEO: - Collaborates with web development teams to resolve technical SEO issues. - Implements schema markup, improves website speed, and corrects crawl errors.4. Content Strategy and Blog Creation: - Develops and executes content strategies to boost organic search rankings. - Creates and optimizes engaging blog posts, landing pages, and other web content.5. Link Building: - Builds and manages a strategic and diverse backlink profile. - Utilizes white-hat link-building techniques to increase domain authority.6. SEO Reporting and Analysis: - Monitors and analyzes website performance using tools like Google Analytics. - Provides regular reports on key SEO metrics with actionable insights.7. SEM Campaign Management: - Establishes and manages paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.). - Optimizes ad copy, targeting, and budget allocation for maximum ROI.8. A/B Testing: - Conducts A/B tests on ad creatives, landing pages, and other elements. - Uses data-driven insights to refine and improve marketing strategies.9. Competitor Analysis: - Keeps up with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. - Performs thorough competitor analyses to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.10. Creating Blog Content: - Develops and curates engaging and SEO-friendly blog content. - Uses blog posts to drive targeted traffic to the website.QUALIFICATIONS:- Must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.- Required language(s): Mandarin and English.- 3+ years of experience in the i-Gaming industry.- Demonstrated success in SEO/SEM with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant tools.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms and industry trends.- Certification in Google Ads or other relevant certifications.- Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc.).- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.Notes:• Chinese citizens are welcome to apply.• The client organization offers a competitive salary and employee benefits.
