The Marketing Specialist under the Insighting and Operations team supports data-driven marketing strategies through research, operational planning, and campaign support. This role plays a key part in identifying opportunities for lead generation and ensuring that all marketing initiatives—especially events—are aligned with business objectives and ROI potential. The ideal candidate is both analytical and strategic, capable of turning insights into action and optimizing marketing operations for maximum impact.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consumer Research and Social Listening
Conduct consumer and market research to support data-driven decision-making.
Use social listening tools and techniques to monitor trends, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve marketing strategies.
Support in Direct Marketing Execution
Assist in the development and rollout of direct marketing campaigns that engage target audiences.
Coordinate logistics, messaging, and tracking for campaign performance under guidance from senior team members.
Database Support and Management
Help maintain and update marketing databases, ensuring accuracy, organization, and usability for reporting and analysis.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clean and segment data for targeted campaigns.
Support in Systems and Automation
Contribute to the setup and maintenance of marketing systems and automation tools.
Assist in identifying opportunities to automate recurring tasks and improve process efficiency.
Documentation and Process Support
Maintain updated documentation of marketing processes and procedures.
Support compliance with Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) standards and internal audit requirements.
Coordination of Internal Marketing Requirements
Liaise with internal departments such as HR, Corporate Affairs, and Legal to support marketing deliverables and requirements.
Ensure timely follow-through and accurate documentation of approvals, clearances, and compliance tasks.
Administrative Support
Provide administrative assistance to the team and CMC sub-groups as needed (e.g., scheduling meetings, preparing reports, tracking project status).
Tactical and Special Projects
Participate in assigned tactical or special projects, providing support in research, execution, documentation, or coordination with relevant teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in marketing operations, research, campaign coordination, or a similar field.
COMPETENCE:
Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and Excel or basic data analysis tools.
Working knowledge of social listening tools is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Working Conditions:
Hybrid work setup.
May require occasional travel or extended hours during events.
