Medical Billing Specialist | US Healthcare Insurance | Get a 21K Signing

Account specific roles & responsibilities:

• Work with the census team to review and process patient admissions
• Create required facility forms, including 3559s and IVFs
• Review online insurance queries to verify patient benefits and eligibility
• Obtain and print eligibility information from insurance portals
• Contact insurance companies to request proof of coverage when needed
• Confirm that insurance information in the portal is accurate and appropriate
• Obtain and document reference numbers for all insurance verification calls

• 6 months - 1 year BPO experience in a US Healthcare account
• Good working knowledge with medical billing / Census
• Familiar with US Healthcare Insurance (Medicare, Medicaid)
• Excellent verbal & written English skills 
• Ability to display empathy and patience in addressing customer concerns 
• Strong problem-solving skills 
• Adaptability to a changing work environment  
• Ability to remain calm under pressure 
• Proficiency in using computer systems & relevant software 
• Willing to work onsite in Mandaluyong
• Amenable working night shift
