Job Description - Medical Coding Trainer

We offer: * Competitive Salary and benefits * Fully remote set-up * Equipment are provided * 10% night differential * Other NTAs and Lifestyle Rewards Duties * Oversee, organize, and implement coding education programs for Professional Fee Coding services * Ensure strategic alignment of the training department with business goals * Oversees the development and administration of curriculum for coding team * Create instructional training materials, modules, and resource documents * Research coding concepts * Evaluate individual and organizational performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance * Accurately follows coding guidelines and legal requirements to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory bodies * Assess and identify skills, competencies, and areas of learning and instruction needed for new hires and existing coding staff * Maintains compliance standards in accordance with the Compliance policies and the Code of Conduct and reports compliance problems appropriately * Support Quality Control team and initiatives * Participate in daily, weekly and/or monthly meetings via telecommunication * Directly reports to Coding Manager Minimum Qualifications: * Must possess CPC from AAPC and preferably a CPC-I * Must have minimum of 3 years training experience * Must have Advanced English Writing, Reading and Communication * Must have experience training and leading other training members within Coding Department * BS in Nursing, Allied Health, Training, or similar areas, preferred Additional Qualifications: * Ability to use computer at intermediate level * Ability to deliver material effectively via technological avenues * Understand and carry out verbal and written direction * Ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision * Ability to work in a fast paced and production environment Resolv Practicemax, a Harris Revenue Cycle Company, is a leading revenue cycle management solutions provider.
