MEP BIM Modeler

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled MEP BIM Modeler to join our growing team and support the design and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for building projects. You will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools, ensuring coordination across disciplines, and supporting project documentation and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify 3D MEP models (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) using Revit MEP.
• Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural models to resolve clashes.
• Produce shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Follow BIM standards, templates, and guidelines as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines throughout the design process.
• Maintain model integrity and ensure accuracy of modeled elements.
• Participate in coordination meetings and contribute to clash detection processes using tools like Navisworks.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and BOQs from BIM models if required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in MEP BIM modeling, preferably in Revit MEP.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Understanding of MEP systems design and construction processes.
• Familiarity with BIM execution plans (BEP), LOD (Level of Development), and clash detection workflows.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with BIM 360, Dynamo, or similar automation tools.
• Knowledge of international building codes and MEP standards.
• Experience in 4D/5D BIM (schedule/cost integration) is a plus.
