MHE Operator (Material Handling Equipment)

The MHE (Material Handling Equipment) Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient use of forklifts and reach trucks to support daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, and issuance. The role ensures proper handling of goods to avoid damage, maintains operational accuracy, and complies with safety and housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely and efficiently for all warehouse activities.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and submit MHE checklists before usage.
• Report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to the Supervisor.
• Handle inventory properly to prevent product damage during receiving, put-away, and picking.
• Store palletized stocks in designated storage areas based on WMS (Warehouse Management System) instructions.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expired, First Out) in all picking and issuance processes.
• Participate in stocktaking, inventory checking, and other management or client-initiated activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse in line with housekeeping standards.
• Support warehouse operations such as receiving, put-away, replenishment, and issuance transactions.
• Ensure professional interaction with co-workers and external parties.
• Adhere to all company policies and QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment) guidelines.
• Report incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Comply with company integrity policies including anti-bribery and whistleblower guidelines.
• Assist during preventive maintenance checkups facilitated by third-party providers.
• Submit reports as directed by management.

Accountabilities

• Maintain zero accidents during MHE operations.
• Ensure 100% compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Complete daily MHE checklists and initiate preventive maintenance as required.
• Ensure readiness and compliance for both internal and external audits.

Qualifications:
✅ At least college level
✅ With NC II Certification (TESDA/DOLE)
✅ 3+ years experience operating forklift & reach truck

Skills Needed:
🔧 Certified MHE operator (counterbalance + reach truck)
🦺 Strong safety awareness and handling procedures
