Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Microfinance Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Microfinance Officer, you will play a critical role in our organization by helping to identify potential clients, assessing their financial needs, and developing customized microfinance solutions. You will also be responsible for monitoring loan repayments and providing ongoing support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify potential clients through market research and outreach programs

- Conduct client assessments to determine loan eligibility and address financial needs

- Develop and implement financial plans and solutions for clients

- Monitor and track loan repayments, and provide support and guidance to clients to ensure timely repayments

- Conduct regular field visits to assess the progress of clients' businesses and provide necessary support and guidance

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information and loan transactions

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention

- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement effective strategies for business growth and sustainability

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or a similar role

- Knowledge of financial planning and microfinance practices and principles

- Ability to identify potential clients and assess their financial needs

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs

- Fluency in local languages is an added advantage
