MIS Officer - Application Development Manager

As an Application Developer - MIS, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining MIS applications that support business operations and decision-making processes. • 1. TECHNICAL FUNCTION
• 1.1 Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the detailed design, development, and implementation of software or application.
• 1.2 Guide the development team on issues related to the detailed design, development, and
• 1.3 Evaluate the computer and technological needs of the organization.
• 1.4 Recommend the acquisition of computers and other information systems and applications.
• 1.5 Plan and oversee the installation of applications and information security measures.
• 1.6 Analyze and evaluate existing computer systems, telecommunications systems, and
• other forms of technology.
• 1.7 Supervise the members of the MIS Department.
• 1.8 Stay up to date with field advancements, collaborate with other professionals in IT
• systems development, and ensure the team receives refresher training and
• development.
• 1.9 Enforce and monitor compliance with company policies on the use of computers,
• internet, and data.
• 1.10 Prepare and present IT and system reports to the management.
• 1.11 Recruit, hire and train as well as supervise the MIS team members.
• 1.12 Implement, establish, and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
• 1.13 Manage and supervise the MIS Officer and Supervisor.
