Motion Graphics Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Motion Graphics Designer to create engaging visual content for digital platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, animation, and storytelling, with expertise in creating high-quality motion graphics for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, and video productions. You will collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and production teams to deliver compelling visual experiences that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for digital media.

• Create animated graphics for promotional videos, social media, websites, presentations, advertisements, and other marketing materials.

• Collaborate with creative directors, video editors, designers, and marketing teams to develop engaging visual concepts.

• Edit video content by incorporating motion graphics, transitions, typography, and visual effects.

• Develop storyboards, style frames, and animation concepts based on project requirements.

• Ensure all creative assets are consistent with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

• Optimize animations and graphics for multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and social media.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in motion design and animation.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Revise designs based on stakeholder feedback and ensure high-quality final deliverables.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Adobe After Effects
Experience in Adobe Illustrator
Experience in Graphic Design
Experience with Motion Graphics and Motion Design
Experience in creating MOGRTs for Premiere Pro (Motion Graphics Templates) — including building modular, reusable templates for other editors to customise
Experience with vector illustrations
Experience in animating vector illustrations in Adobe After Effects (especially logos)
Strong typography and kinetic type skills
Social/Platform
Experience designing motion graphics for vertical (9:16) social formats (Reels, TikTok, Stories), including safe zones for platform UI overlays
Awareness of current motion design trends on social media
Workflow
Comfortable working within established brand guidelines across multiple client brands at once
Experience working async with a remote/distributed creative team, receiving feedback via project management tools (e.g. ClickUp, Frame.io)
Organised file and asset management habits
Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience in Adobe Photoshop
Experience syncing motion/animation to music or audio beats
Basic 3D experience (Cinema 4D, Element 3D)
