The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for the hands-on creation and delivery of high-quality video, photography and digital content that brings VBP’s brand, people and stories to life.
This role sits within the creative team function of marketing and executes approved brand, campaign and content direction across marketing, recruitment, events and internal communications. The Multimedia Specialist owns the end-to-end production workflow for digital video and photography content - from capture through to edit and delivery - while operating within defined scopes, timelines and priorities.
This is a delivery-focused role for a creator who values storytelling, quality and reliability and can consistently produce engaging content at pace.
Multimedia Content Production
Capture, edit and deliver high-quality video and photography content across multiple formats.
Produce content for marketing campaigns, recruitment initiatives, events, leadership storytelling and internal brand communications.
Ensure outputs are fit-for-purpose across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, website and other relevant internal channels - with fast turnaround
Support the creation of product and service content (e.g. explainers, walkthroughs, promo videos) that is clear, practical, and easy to understand.
Edit content with a strong sense of pacing and storytelling, including sound design, captions, text overlays, transitions and light motion graphics.
Confidently film in varied environments (office, events, on-location) using minimal gear and available light when required.
Storytelling & Brand Execution
Translate approved story direction and briefs into engaging visual content.
Take ownership of putting forward content and storytelling ideas that align with the business marketing strategy and content pillar objectives.
Support authentic storytelling that showcases people, culture, leadership and client credibility.
Maintain strong alignment with brand tone, values and visual standards.
Event, Recruitment & Internal Brand Support
Provide multimedia support for key VBP events and activations, including recruitment and internal brand initiatives.
Collaborate with the Brand, Events & Recruitment Marketing Lead to capture content that extends the life and impact of events.
Support onboarding and internal storytelling through people-focused content.
Design Studio & Workflow Discipline
Deliver multimedia work in line with agreed scopes, timelines and priorities within the Design Studio model.
Track all assigned work accurately in Asana.
Manage workload responsibly and flag risks to timelines, quality or capacity early.
Support the delivery of retained Design Studio work within the allocated time.
Work closely with designers and content experience roles to create cohesive, multi-format experiences.
Collaborate closely with marketing, brand, events and leadership teams while also being comfortable working autonomously and making creative calls.
Apply feedback constructively and continuously improve production quality and efficiency.
Stay up to date with multimedia trends, tools and platform best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Digital Film, Graphic Design or Visual Communications, or any 4-year course in the relevant field
3+ years of experience in an audio/video design role (corporate or agency environment preferred)
Strong knowledge of the Standard Video Editing Software
Non-Negotiable: Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Davinci Resolve and other industry standard Video editor
Plus Skills: Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other Adobe applications
Must be familiar with Google Suite & Microsoft tools (Gmail, Drive, Slides, SharePoint, etc.)
Ability to equalize and enhance audio for interviews and podcasts
Ability to encode and deliver in a variety of AV mediums
Knowledge of Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook video, and other social media uploading platforms is a plus
Knowledge to use and set up various audio, video and photo equipment
Must be detail-oriented with a passion for modern and emerging design trends. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
Ability to provide quality editing work in a timely and efficient manner – often managing multiple projects simultaneously
